Arkham Chronicles S2E7: The climb out of the city
Summary of the 7th scenario in my Drowned City blind run.

Time to climb out of the Drowned City by way of the Western Wall. I now understand that if you go West, you climb down in the city, while going East has your team start down and make your way up. It's not a major difference narratively, but I appreciate it nonetheless.
Spoilers ahead! ❗
Story
The team has now explored as much as they can the city R'yleh. It's time to get out of here with our loot, I mean artifacts! We're now facing a large wall and have to climb our way out. Time is of the essence, since removing the spinning device in the last scenario, the water level has been slowly rising.
Gameplay
The locations in this scenario are set up in a 5-level inverted pyramid, and we start at the bottom. Veterans of the game already know the locations adjacent from one level to the next one. However, this time, they are not adjacent on the same level. You can only go up and down. Some location's shroud is based on its level, as it's often the case in these types of scenarios. Bottom locations started fully or partially flooded. If you're landing here from the West, the general idea is the same, with the team starting at the top of the pyramid.
Performance
At this point, I'm pretty confident about my decks and don't feel the need to squeeze out every bit of experience points. This made rushing to the exit easier. I also have to admit I have looked at the remaining scenarios when I thought I had already lost the campaign. This provided me with the knowledge that there's a big bonus if you translate all the glyphs and gather all the artifacts, not much else for a partial recovery. Another reason for me to rush.
I didn't explore many locations, I know I missed at least one glyph while still managing to translate two on the way. However, I don't think there was any artifact, but I could be mistaken. I managed to be efficient with my actions, even getting some clues in lower locations with Marion, and made it out with plenty of time left. There is a big monster in the second part of the scenario, but it was no trouble.
No progress was made on Tasks. Marion didn't take enough damage, and Agatha was victim of her own basic weakness. I chose her weakness at random while creating her deck, drew Days of Reckoning, which directly works against her Task. It's especially harsh when there's only one Agenda in a scenario.

2 more XP were earned, we made it out of the city, and the campaign hasn't revealed yet what mess we created by taking these artifacts. I guess that will be part of the scenario, stay tuned!
- Marion:
- Vicious Blow ⏫Vicious Blow-2
- Agatha:
- Eyes of the Dreamer ▶️Brand of Cthugha-1. I incorrectly wrote I drop the Drain Essence in my last upgrade paths, but it's rather the Eyes that were left out. I prefer the fully upgraded Brand, but it is expensive.
